Good Mamo Tech

   Recently, I had a long overdue Mamogram, which I so dreaded. I had a

bad experience as some of you know. This young lady was so patient and

considerate. She first introduced herself as the other one should have.

   The room was different and she stayed in the same room as she zapped 

me. And she went through all the steps that she would do as she did them,

even placing the metal 'thingies', you ladies know where. In retrospect, I'm

sure she wasn't going to take any chances. I told her how I appreciated her

and I had to report the last one. I figure she already knew all about it.

   She told me to hold my other breast so it would be out of the way and 

to hold my shoulders back. I hope that because of the few zaps, it didn't 

mean I was getting a double whammy on my mammies.  lol  We've been

hearing about these MRI's that are using too much radiation. I must say 

that my overall experience was nothing like what it was before. Sharon

is an asset to that hospital and such a blessing to all women she zaps.

The Odd Couple

I think I finally figured out why Kassey won't sleep in my office/ bed-room.
She's a neat freak and I'm a slob. I figured it must be the clutter so I cleared
out some and now I've got my roommate back, sleeping on her pillow. She
found a place on the outside of my twin bed, but I moved and she jumped
down. I put a bigger bed in here, still quite close-fitting and I'll have to move
my desk back a little. I sleep on an elevated air mattress, which is very comfy.
I gave my queen size bedroom suite to my son, downsizing a bit and I manage
very well.  I don't like wall to wall furniture or wall to wall anything as in my
previous apartment and I'm giving my big sectional sofa to Andy/Family. They
are remodeling and will get it at their earliest convenience. This thing  is divided
to fit  with everything else in my  living-room and I have a nice couch that I can
maneuver myself, using the sliders. I can move this one around when I  re-
arrange the furniture, which I've always enjoyed.Now it's time to start on closets,
which I've been putting off. Kassey always enjoys this as most cats do. All this
makes me want Springtime, but I'm still waiting for that snow way down here.

Thunder Storms Way Down Here

Jeanne and I went to Walmart and got the Thanksgiving pictures developed finally and I'm not a photographer so I'm not real pleased with them.It's a stormy tonight so I'll wait until tomorrow to post them.We brought our groceries home and I left mine in the floor except for frozen stuff, 'cause I wanted to go to Big Lot's before the storm really set in.I told Kassey I had to go back to town and she was upset with me.This cat isn't subtle in her body language.Her fur ruffles when I talk to her, when she's upset with me.I gave her some of her favorite ice cream(butter pecan w/o nuts),but that didn't fix it.She kept meowing about something and finally after checking litter box, seemed ok. So I told her to show me what she needed and I followed her to my bathroom.After my shower, instead of putting my dress in the washing machine, I left it in the floor. She went to my dress and started rubbing on it.Well, this was a broad hint for me to stay home with her, but I wanted to go to Big Lot's to buy a hot air popcorn popper, which I didn't find.I started thisa blog last night but it was really bad so I turned off the PC. GRITS

G.R.I.T.S...Many of you folks know what this stands for.This came to mind when I was fixin' instant grits with 2 scrambled eggs for lunch. I did one of those one -dish things, nuked the water, stirred in the instant grits and then stirred in the scrambled eggs. This is some fine eatin' and this'll warm the innards on a cold  day. Talking about Not Paying Attention

Well, I'm still laughing, just called Tmobile and explained what I did and he assured me I wouldn't be charged anything extra . He said usually those #'s are 900 #'s and can't be dialed from a cell phone. I told him how relieved I was. By now he was tickled and said you probably weren't on but a minute or so  and I said I wasn't on that long. Needless to say I made Ryan's day. He said this was the best call he'd had all day. By the Grace of God, my world is still turning, no matter how befuddled I am.  LOL

Talking about Mamogram Tech From Hell

I called the hospital and told them I wanted to make a report on someone in Radiology . I talked to the Head Man about my experience with the "Mamogram Tech From Hell". I described her to him and how I was treated. He apologized for the mistreatment. I told him if she was a student , she should have been supervised. He said if she was the one he was thinking about, she had 20 years experience. He also said she didn't work as a regular but travelled to different hospitals. I received a letter from the hospital stateing what I had reported and of course an apology. I waited a few days for "Head Man" to call me back, so I called him. He said he talked to her and said the incident was on her records. He couldn't tell me what their conversation was , (confidentiality). I asked her name. Wouldn't you know it, her name is VIOLET, my fave color family, purple.  lol

Mamogram Tech From Hell

Inept Techs doing mamograms should be illegal. Sure,students have to learn but not at our expense. She should have been supervised. Hindsight tells me I should have walked out.But the 'what if's' kept me there and the left one had been done already.The 'ediot' forgot the nipple thingy so she had to repeat the left breast. I allowed her to continue and she was so impatient and disrespectful as she kept telling me I wasn't standing right and wasn't close enough. Well, I was close enough for her to pinch my left breast while the right one was in this vise.

I simmered for a few days and called the radiology dept.to report her. She told me that all the employees are experienced. I explained to her what happened,date,day, time, description of the young woman. She told me that they had Techs that day. I told her that she should be reprimanded. As I think back, I should talk to someone in a higher postion about this. This should not be allowed without supervision. It's bad enough with an experienced person. So ladies,before you have this done ask if the person is qualified. I am blessed 'cause I received a letter saying it was normal. I'm most grateful for this.
